CBS Mobile head Cyriac Roeding is leaving the division that he helped start, the network said Monday.

Roeding, who was executive vp at CBS Mobile, will move on to pursue "various entrepreneurial endeavors" after leading the department since its inception in 2005.

Jeff Sellinger will now head the department as executive vp and GM of CBS Mobile. He had been senior vp of the division since December and before that had stints as director and vp in the mobile group since joining in November 2005.

Before joining CBS, Sellinger co-founded GoldPocket Wireless, a mobile marketing company whose clients included NBC, Fox and MGM.

Roeding came to CBS in 2005 after co-founding 12snap AG Mobile Entertainment, which specializes in mobile marketing and entertainment applications.

"Cyriac has built what is arguably the most innovative and aggressive mobile division in all of media," CBS Interactive president Quincy Smith said. "It's a high-class problem to have, but when you hire entrepreneurs, there is always the risk of them moving on."
