Public relations firm Rogers & Cowan has promoted Jeff Raymond to senior vp, entertainment with Raymond and fellow senior vp Lindsay Galin being appointed to the newly created positions of co-managers of the company’s talent division.

It is among the first moves made by co-presidents Alan Nierob and Fran Curtis, who ascended to the top posts in December.

Galin and Raymond will see their responsibilities expand with the promotions. The duo will oversee the best-in-class digital, content curating and social media competencies of new emerging publicists at the agency.

“Lindsay and Jeff are by far two of the most talented public relations professionals in the business,” Nierob and Curtis said Monday in a statement. “Both have grown and diversified our talent department exponentially. They have a keen eye for talent in all areas of the business, including entertainment, fashion, music and sports, and will be taking on a more managerial role in our talent dept.”

Galin, who is based in New York, has been at Rogers & Cowan since 2011 after launching her own talent publicity firm, Lantern PR, in 2009. She has worked on established company clients, including Liam Neeson and Richard Gere, as well as new clients such as Felicity Jones. Most recently, Galin spearheaded the campaigns for newly minted best actress Oscar winner Brie Larson and Star Wars: The Force Awakens star John Boyega.

Raymond has been at the firm since 2007 after founding his own company, PYR PR, in 2002. His clients include Michael Keaton, Vin Diesel, Lionel Richie, David Beckham, NASCAR’s Jimmie Johnson and Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson. Raymond is also behind the ongoing campaigns for client Britney Spears and her Las Vegas show, Britney: Piece of Me.
