Rogers Communications revealed a "billing inaccuracy" for around 300,000 customers not fully discounted for bundling options.
And another 200,000 customers that received bigger discounts than they allowed will keep the over-payments, while receiving the correct discounts going forward.
"We have been working around the clock to make this right and we apologize to our affected customers," Phil Hartling, senior vp of consumer segment at Toronto-based Rogers, said in a statement.

Rogers put the billing snafu down to "administrative error and system related issues."
