Rose Leslie, Justin Bartha, Gina Rodriguez Join Ray Liotta in 'Sticky Notes' (Exclusive)
Amanda Harlib's indie film centers on a backup dancer who returns home to Florida to help care for her estranged father.
Game of Thrones actress Rose Leslie, The Hangover's Justin Bartha and Filly Brown actress Gina Rodriguez are joining Ray Liotta in indie Sticky Notes, the directorial debut of screenwriter Amanda Harlib.
The film, currently shooting in New Orleans, centers on a backup dancer (Leslie) who returns home to Florida to help care for her estranged father, Jack (Liotta), after he's diagnosed with cancer.
The project is produced by Katie Mustard and Joe Jenckes under the Mustard & Co. banner.
Harlib most recently adapted the novel Sorta Like a Rockstar by Silver Linings Playbook writer Matthew Quick for Gotham Group, which is set up with Temple Hill at Fox Searchlight. She also is the creator of the Web series Haute and Bothered, which ran on Teen.com for two years. She's repped by Mosaic.
Leslie currently appears on HBO's hit Game of Thrones as wildling Ygritte and has previously appeared on Downton Abbey. The Scottish actress also appeared in indie film Honeymoon, which premiered at SXSW and played at the Tribeca Film Festival. She's repped by UTA, Anonymous Content and Hamilton Hodell in the U.K.
Bartha played Doug in The Hangover trilogy and most recently appeared in CBGB and TV's The New Normal. He's repped by CAA and The Schiff Co.
Rodriguez starred in 2012 Sundance film Filly Brown and will star in upcoming TV series Jane the Virgin. She's repped by APA, Intellectual Artists Management and Jackoway Tyerman.
