Donald Trump Tweets 'Get Better' to Rosie O’Donnell
The long-feuding duo exchanged pleasantries in the wake of the comedienne’s heart attack.
Is peace on the horizon in one Hollywood’s longstanding feuds?
Donald Trump offered a digital olive branch to Rosie O’Donnell Tuesday, one day after she revealed she survived a heart attack last week.

Trump took to Twitter with this message:
.
@rosie, get better fast. I'm starting to miss you!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 21, 2012
The comedienne responded cheekily:
@realdonaldtrump@rosie - well thank u donald - i must admit ur post was a bit of a shock ... r u trying to kill me ? xx— Rosie O'Donnell (@Rosie) August 21, 2012
O’Donnell's health revelation appears to have softened what has been a war of words waged since 2006, when the comedienne slammed Trump's decision not to axe then-troubled Miss USA Tara Conner.
The public feud continued into this year.

In January, O'Donnell praised the documentary You’ve Been Trumped, which alleges the mogul strong armed Scottish locals into letting him turn wilderness into a luxury golf resort.
"Just finished watching YOU'VE BEEN TRUMPED - amazing new documentary - a must see 4 all,” O’Donnell tweeted at the time.
Trump fired back in March, when O’Donnell’s Oprah Network TV show was canceled. Trump praised the decision during an appearance on Fox & Friends, calling Oprah “smart."
“Rosie fails at everything. She had a variety show, it failed. ... I just don't understand now, somebody else, some moron will come and hire her again to do something else but that will fail,” Trump said. “At some point, let her go away. She'll never make it. And I've said it for years, she'll never make it."
O'Donnell recently revealed she had postponed her wedding to fiancée Michelle Rounds, because Rounds was battling potentially fatal desmoid tumors. As for her recent health scare, O'Donnell credits takin Bayer Aspirin after experiencing chest pain with saving her life.
