Rowan Atkinson Reenacts Classic 'Mr. Bean' Gag Next to Buckingham Palace to Commemorate Show's 25th Anniversary

In celebration of Mr. Bean's 25th anniversary, Rowan Atkinson gave British fans a live performance outside Buckingham Palace on Friday.
Atkinson was in full character during the drive-by of the royal palace, where "Mr. Bean" entertained pedestrians sitting atop his green 1976 British Leyland Mini 1000 in his oatmeal-colored chair with mop in hand and his best friend, Teddy, by his side. The performance was a reenactment from a similar scene in the show.
A small brigade of officers drove behind the roped-in Bean as he drove through the streets of London. During his ride, he also stopped to get ice cream in the park.
The Mini had a #MrBean25 hashtag along the side of it for curious passerby.
Mr. Bean ran from 1990 to 1995 and was nominated for five BAFTAs, including best light entertainment performance (1991, 1992 and 1994), best light entertainment programme (1991) and best programme or series comedy (1992).
