Royal Newlyweds Prince William, Kate Middleton Biography to Be Released
The book, titled "William & Catherine: Their Story" by Andrew Morton will be out in May.
A biography of newlyweds Prince William and Kate Middleton will be released May 17, the New York Times reports.
The unauthorized biography by Andrew Morton, titled William & Catherine: Their Story, will be published by St. Martin’s Press and will detail the “full story” of the couple, including their time at Scotland's University of St. Andrews, William’s proposal in Kenya and the royal wedding itself, which took place Friday.
“I have drawn on 30 years of experience covering the royal family to bring perspective and insight into the life of a young man I have watched develop from a toddler and schoolboy into a soldier — just as I have tried to discover more about his bride,” Morton said in a statement.
Morton, who has written biographies of William’s mother Diana, Princess of Wales; Monica Lewinsky; and Tom Cruise, did not interview the couple, who are now known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
It is thought that networks that broadcast the royal wedding without advertisements will lose $15 million. But, the royal wedding is expected to set an all-time record for web traffic with Yahoo saying web coverage is trumping record visits for the Michael Jackson funeral by 21 percent.
