Ruth Wilson to Star in Indie Drama 'I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House'
'The Affair' star joins Bob Balaban and Lucy Boynton in writer-director Oscar Perkins' ghost drama.
The Affair star Ruth Wilson is to star in Oscar Perkins' indie I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House, which starts shooting next month in Ottawa.
Bob Balaban and Lucy Boynton round out the cast for the indie, which Perkins wrote and directs. Golden Globe-winner Wilson will play a young nurse hired to care for elderly Helen Bloom, a best-selling author of ghost stories who has chosen to live out her final days in her beloved country home, which also holds an horrific ghost story of its own.
Rob Paris’ Paris Film is producing and co-financing the film through a venture with Robert Menzies’ Zed Filmworks and Alphonse Ghossein’s Go Insane Films. Paris and Menzies are producing and Ghossein is executive producing.
Wilson is represented by CAA and Untitled, Balaban by Paradigm and Boynton by Innovative Artists. Perkins is represented by CAA.
