Ryan Coogler Named Warner Bros. Creative Talent Ambassador
The 'Creed' director has come aboard the studio's U.K.-based initiative to nurture young talent.
Ryan Coogler has been named the first Warner Bros. Creative Talent ambassador.
Thursday's announcement, made by Josh Berger, president and managing director for WB U.K., Ireland and Spain, came as the studio welcomed the third season of its Creative Talent program, aimed at finding apprenticeships and placements for youngsters across the country in various areas of the filmmaking industry.
"Having experienced firsthand the support and impact of programs similar to Warner Bros. Creative Talent, it is fantastic to know that passionate young people of all backgrounds are being given the chance to follow their dreams here in the U.K.," said Coogler. "This can be a tough industry and so we need to do what we can to bring talented young people into it."
