Sacha Baron Cohen has re-upped his first-look deal with Paramount even as the studio put his latest comedy project into turnaround only to have it picked up by Sony.

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Cohen and his shingle, Four By Two Films, has signed a new pact, this one for three years with a commitment to produce two movies.

However, Cohen’s first movie out of the gate will be Grimsby, an action comedy he had been developing at Paramount but now moved to Sony, which has set a July 31, 2015 release.

Grimsby follows a James Bond-like spy who is forced to go on the run with his long-lost brother, a moronic soccer hooligan. It began life as a pitch from Cohen and Phil Johnston (Wreck-It Ralph) that the studio bought in 2012.

Louis Leterrier is directing the movie, which hopes to start shooting this summer.
