The awards ceremony included heartwarming moments from Leonardo DiCaprio, Uzo Aduba, Jeffrey Tambor and more.

The 22nd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards show featured big wins and inspiring speeches from actors of TV and film.

Among the more "aw"-inducing moments were speeches from Orange Is the New Black's Uzo Aduba, The Revenant's Leonardo DiCaprio, Transparent's Jeffrey Tambor and his Arrested Development co-star Jason Bateman.

Uzo Aduba:

Aduba won the first award of the night, best actress in a comedy series, and thanked her fellow actors for her award, saying “it’s really, really truly touching.”

The Orange Is the New Black actress thanked series creator Jenji Kohan as well as Netflix’s Ted Sarandos and Lionsgate “for the bravery you have shown to our show.” Lastly, she thanked the cast: “I not only love you, but I respect all of you,” while also acknowledging the actors “who are at home, not here in this room with us but hoping to one day be in this room with us, to continue to keep trying. To keep plugging, to keep working. ... No matter if anyone tells you to get out of that line you are waiting in — stay in line."

Jason Bateman/Jeffrey Tambor

Tambor won best actor in a comedy for Amazon’s Transparent and dedicated the award to his acting family and the trans community. Jason Bateman introduced the award to his Arrested Development co-star, saying “get up here, dad,” to a collective "aw" from the crowd.

“I want to thank Jill Soloway for changing my life,” said Tambor. “Thank you, Jill, for the responsibility of Maura Pfefferman," he went on, saying that the Transparent character is "entitled" but not everyone in the trans community is so lucky. "I would just like to dedicate this award to the non-Maura Pfeffermans who don't have a lot of cash, for their operations, for their medicine, for their freedom."

He ended his speech by acknowledging “the most amazing cast (except for Jason) I’ve ever worked with,” Tambor joked.

Brie Larson

Larson accepted the SAG award for best actress in a leading role for her performance in Room, and took the opportunity to reflect and thank her fellow actors in the audience.

"I feel like I was born questioning everything about reality, feeling lost and alone and always worried that I was deeply unlovable," said Larson. "And watching your movies, to all of my SAG members, made me feel less alone and made me feel like that was a safe place for me to explore my creativity.”

Leonardo DiCaprio

“I’m truly humbled by this because it comes from all of you, my fellow actors," DiCaprio began, accepting his momentous first-ever SAG Award for best actor. The win was an emotional moment for the actor, who could also win his first-ever Oscar this year for his performance in The Revenant.

He spoke to young actors, encouraging them to study cinema, before taking a moment to thank his parents for all of their support. “And to my parents, thank you for listening to an overly ambitious, slightly annoying 13-year-old kid who wanted to go on auditions every day after school. I would not be standing here without you. Love you."
