The actress went on to her breakout role in 1994 with Speed, followed by While You Were Sleeping the next year. In 2010, her role in The Blind Side earned her an Oscar in the Best Actress category. She can next be seen opposite Tom Hanks in Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, out Jan. 20, 2012.
