Sarah McLachlan bringing Lilith Fair to Oz

'A Taste of Lilith' five-date tour kicks off Oct. 4 in Sydney

This year's return of the Lilith Fair traveling music festival, following a 10-year hiatus, may have hit a few snags that resulted in 13 of the tour's 36 shows being canceled, but that's not stopping festival co-founder Sarah McLachlan from bringing the event to Australia.

Like since its inception, McLachlan is again headlining the female-focused festival, which begins a five-date tour Down Under on Oct. 4 in Sydney under the modified moniker "A Taste of Lilith."

The Australian leg wraps Oct. 16 and includes sets by Aussie singer Kate Miller-Heidke as well as the Court Yard Hounds, a duo comprised of the Dixie Chicks' Martie Maguire and Emily Robison.

Approximately $1 (Australian) from each ticket sold on the "A Taste of Lilith" Oz tour will be donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
