Sarah Palin Documentary's International Sales Rights Acquired by Content Films
Nick Broomfield's 'Sarah Palin: You Betcha!' will have world premiere at Toronto Film Fest.
Content Film has come on board to handle the international rights to Nick Broomfield's new documentary, Sarah Palin: You Betcha!, which will have its world premiere at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival.
Content is the worldwide film and library sales arm of Content Media, which will also be selling Hick, starring Chloe Grace Moretz and Blake Lively in Toronto.
Broomfield, who has directed documentaries about Kurt Cobain and Heidi Fleiss, is expected to take a much more critical look at Palin than did the other current documentary about her The Undefeated.
"We're delighted to be continuing our relationship with the fearless Nick Broomfield -- who has yet again shown his talent for picking fascinating and timely subject matter," Content Film president Jamie Carmichael said.
Cassian Elwes is handling U.S. rights to the film, whose U.K. TV rights have already sold to Channel 4.
