Golden Globes: Sarah Paulson Wins Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Movie or Miniseries

The 74th annual awards show, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday.

Sarah Paulson took home the Golden Globe for best performance by an actress in a TV movie or miniseries on Sunday night.

The actress beat out Felicity Huffman in American Crime, Riley Keough in The Girlfriend Experience, Charlotte Rampling in London Spy and Kerry Washington in Confirmation.

The win is Paulson's first, though she has been nominated in the category twice before — in 2013 for HBO's TV movie Game Change and in 2007 for Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Paulson previously won an Emmy in 2016 for her role as Marcia Clark in the true crime series centered around the O.J. Simpson murder trial. Paulson thanked the show's creator Ryan Murphy while accepting the award. The show went on to win the Golden Globe for best TV miniseries or movie.

Jimmy Fallon hosted the 74th annual Golden Globe Awards, which took place at the Beverly Hilton on Jan. 8.
