Scott Haze to Join Miles Teller Firefighter Film 'No Exit' (Exclusive)
Josh Brolin also will star in the action film from 'Tron: Legacy' director Joseph Kosinski.
Scott Haze will suit up for the the firefighter film No Exit.
Miles Teller and Josh Brolin are set to star in the action pic from Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski.
No Exit centers on the true story of a group of firefighters known as the Granite Mountain Hotshots, who lost 19 crewmembers as they faced one of the deadliest wildfires in history in order to save an Arizona town. Haze is set to play a religious firefighter known as Whitted.
The film will be financed by Black Label, with Molly Smith, Trent Luckinbill and Thad Luckinbill producing the project along with Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Erik Howsam, Jeremy Steckler, Dawn Ostroff and Mike Menchel.
No Exit has yet to set a start date.
A frequent collaborator with voracious multihyphenate James Franco, Haze has appeared in Franco's various directorial efforts including As I Lay Dying, The Sound and the Fury, Zeroville, Child of God and the upcoming In Dubious Battle. Haze also is co-artistic director of the Rattlestick West theater alongside Franco and David Van Asselt, and he directed the Charles Mully documentary Mully, which had its premiere at the Austin Film Festival in 2015.
Haze recently appeared in the Jeff Nichols sci-fi drama Midnight Special and just wrapped filming on DreamWork's Thank You for Your Service, where he stars opposite Teller.
