Sean Faris Starrer 'Lost for Words' Gets Underway in Hong Kong
Sean Faris leads the English-language romance, that also stars Terence Yin and Will Yun Lee.
HONG KONG -- The lead of the upcoming remake of Bonnie and Clyde, Sean Faris, first takes a detour to Hong Kong to join the cast of local English-language romance Lost for Words, which is now shooting in the special administrative region.
Written and directed by Hong Kong-based filmmaker Stanley J. Orzel, who has worked with producer Bill Kong and director Zhang Yimou as creative consultant on Hero, House of Flying Daggers, and Curse of the Golden Flower, Lost for Words revolves around cross-cultural romantic couplings in the city.
The film also stars Los Angeles-raised actor-singer Terence Yin (Life without Principle), Korean-American actor Will Yun Lee (Die Another Day), and newcomer Grace Huang (Love in Space).
Faris will play an ex-U.S. Marine who falls for a Chinese ballerina in the Southern China cosmopolitan, which is famed for melding and bridging eastern and western culture.
Produced by Studio Strada, which Orzel founded with partner Maria Lo, Lost for Words will debut at the Berlin Film Market next month.
