"His tactics are those employed by the shiftiest of agents, lawyers and publicists," the 'Family Guy' creator wrote.

Seth MacFarlane on Friday attempted to explain why so many celebrities have such disdain for Donald Trump.

The Family Guy creator and star posted a lengthy message to social media explaining that the president-elect represented the downside of fame to people who have tasted success.

"His tactics are those employed by the shiftiest of agents, lawyers and publicists," MacFarlane wrote. "We've learned to recognize the blustery showmanship of a lying con man because we encounter it everyday in our business."

MacFarlane, who hosted the Comedy Central Roast of Trump in March 2011, has been one of his most vocal celebrity critics through his massive social media following. His show also made fun of Trump and utilized the leaked 2005 Billy Bush tape in an episode before the election.

On Friday, MacFarlane wrote that people who have made it in Tinseltown "love America" and don't want to see it conned.

"Trump is not of the People," he penned. "Trump is of Hollywood. And that's the problem."
