NBC

It's a parody of a parody

Seth Meyers took all of the ingredients that are key to a good Aaron Sorkin parody and then went one step further on Thursday's Late Night. He and his co-workers commented on the exact thing they were spoofing while they were in the midst of spoofing it. There's walking and talking, passionate speeches by a low-level employee, romantic chemistry disguised in arguments, ping-pong dialogue, Aaron Sorkin himself, and of course, discussions of all of the Sorkin sketches that came before this one.

In essence, it is a parody of a parody. We half-expected Leonardo DiCaprio to come out and start babbling about inception.
