'Shark Tank' Preview: Entrepreneur Earns Gasps Over "Gold Rush Nugget Bucket" Reveal (Exclusive Video)
THR has an exclusive sneak peek at Friday's episode.
A dad from Eugene, Ore., wants to get rich by helping other people get rich, on Friday's Shark Tank.
In this exclusive preview, the entrepreneur demonstrates a special gold-mining bucket that was inspired by his daughter's playtime activity of panning for gold. It's "not just another gold-panning kit," he says.
"Who wants to get into this worldwide opportunity and strike it rich with me?" he asks the sharks. He also earns gasps from the panel when he reveals that he's already sunk $192,000 into the product.
Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9 p.m. on ABC. The upcoming episode also features a couple from Portland, Ore., who bring a line of customized sandals that are manufactured in Uganda, giving poor women in the country an opportunity to go to college with their earnings; a woman from San Francisco who is looking for a “breast friend” to invest in her sports bra that she claims is “a fanny pack for your rack”; and a woman from Los Angeles with a do-it-yourself kit for developing photos with sunlight and transferring images to products.
