Sherlock Holmes to Live Again in a New Original Novel

Late author Conan Doyle's estate has tapped British author-screenwriter Anthony Horowitz to pen a new crime caper that is due in the fall.

The monumental success of director Guy Ritchie's 2009 blockbuster Sherlock Holmes, and last fall's contemporary BBC makeover Sherlock has sparked a revival of sorts for the classic detective that will soon include a new novel. Late Sherlock Holmes creator Conan Doyle's estate has approved a new book project about the great detective and his sidekick, Dr. Watson.
