Sheryl Crow Puts Home Up For Sale
The singer's residence is on the market for almost $16 million.
Sheryl Crow has put her house on the market for a whopping $15,950,000. The Hollywood compound boasts 3 different houses spread across 11 acres.
The two-story main house is a Spanish Revival residence built in 1924, complete with four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, original Spanish tiles and beamed ceilings. She purchased the house in 1997 according to Zillow.com. Also included in the main house is a chef's kitchen, library, wine cellar & music room. The country crooner’s backyard offers a barbecue area, tee pee, campsite, playground, walking trails, and an infinity style pool to help “soak up the sun”.
A 1909 Craftsman house on the property has three bedrooms and three baths. The cottage-style house was built in 1885, with two bedrooms and two baths and white oak floors. An arching bridge connects the three houses on the estate. The sprawling estate was featured in a March 2011 issue of Architectural Digest and Crow told AD the main house has a ”peaceful feeling, like a monastery or ashram.”
Crow battled breast cancer in 2006 and in June of this year revealed she had a benign brain tumor that was discovered because she was forgetting the lyrics to her songs. Crow and her two adopted children have been living on a farm outside Nashville, Tennessee for the last few years.
