Sheryl Crow's Hollywood Bowl Show Loses Power Mid-Set
The singer was in the middle of "All I Wanna Do" when the venue went dark.
The Hollywood Bowl suffered a power outage partway through Sheryl Crow's concert on Saturday night.
The blackout occurred at about 10:20 p.m. PT, as Crow was in the middle of performing her hit 1994 song "All I Wanna Do."
After the lights went out, attendees used their cell phones to help illuminate the storied Los Angeles venue, and many concert-goers took to Twitter to share photos of the crowd sitting in the dark.
The outage lasted for approximately five minutes, at which point the flood lights came back, followed by the full lights. Crow picked up the song exactly where she had left off.
"Well, that was crazy," she told the crowd once power had returned.
An usher told The Hollywood Reporter that this marks the Hollywood Bowl's first full power outage in 19 years.
The cause of the blackout was not immediately known. A rep for the venue did not respond to a request for comment.
