'Transformers' Star Shia LaBeouf Attacked by Shirtless Man in Canada (Video)

Perhaps Shia LaBeouf should pay more attention to the company he keeps when on location.
The Transformers actor, who's shooting Robert Redford's The Company That You Keep in Vancouver, was involved in a melee outside a bar there this weekend.

LaBeouf and the man, identified only as "Mike," reportedly exchanged words inside the Cinema Public House Friday night. LeBeouf left the establishment to hail a cab and was followed by "Mike," who took off his shirt and went after the actor.
A video posted by TMZ shows the heavy-set man beating LaBeouf to the ground. LaBeouf jumps up to confront his attacker but onlookers keep him away. The video later shows LaBeouf again being restrained by men at the scene.

There's no word yet on what exactly set off the fight, but it isn't the first time LaBeouf has mixed it up at a bar. In Feb., he was involved in an altercation with a patron at the Mad Bull Tavern in Sherman Oaks, Calif. Bar employee Sammy Cutler told The Hollywood Reporter at the time, "There was an exchange of words [with another man] and Shia got punched in the face," said Cultler.
Los Angeles Police officers "just happened to be driving by" and saw the crowd around the fracas. Both the thespian and the unnamed sparring partner were briefly question and placed in handcuffs. No charges were filed and both men declined to press charges at time of the dust-up.
LeBeouf’s publicist has not responded to THR’s written request for comment.
