Jennifer Meyer’s jewelry has been a red-carpet bling staple for more than a decade, seen on A-listers from Jennifer Aniston to Diane Kruger, and most recently, Anna Paquin, who rocked a pair of Meyer-designed earrings at the True Blood premiere last week.
Now, Meyer is debuting a limited-edition collection for the stylish set with her pal Rachel Zoe (also one of The Hollywood Reporter's Top 25 Power Stylists) and her website, The Zoe Report. The collection comprises three 18-karat gold good luck charms — the horseshoe, elephant and "lucky eye" — inspired by the first piece of Jennifer Meyer jewelry Zoe's husband and business partner Roger Berman gave her. The charms are sold as a single stud or pair of studs, a bracelet or necklace.
"I really wanted to do something that I thought represented my brand and my line but that was really connected to Rachel," says Meyer. "These symbols are all protective; a lot of what I do within my line is all about protection, it’s all about love, it’s all about luck."
In honor of the line's release, Zoe and Meyer hosted an intimate dinner last week at Chateau Marmont, where close friends including Molly Sims, Brooklyn Decker and, of course, Meyer's husband, Toby Maguire, turned out for the event.
"Jen is a dear friend and I could not be more thrilled that she is our first featured designer," says Zoe. "I'm looking forward to growing this program as we work closely with some of mine and my team's favorite designers."
This is the first e-commerce enterprise for The Zoe Report, which will feature a series of exclusive limited-edition designer capsule collections curated by Zoe herself. The Jennifer Meyer x The Zoe Report collaboration, priced between $135 and $280, goes on sale Tuesday at Shop.TheZoeReport.com. Happy shopping.
