Showtime's 'House of Lies' Adds Richard Schiff
The former "West Wing" star will be playing Kristen Bell and Don Cheadle's boss in the upcoming half-hour series.
West Wing star Richard Schiff has joined the cast of Showtime’s new half hour series House Of Lies, playing the boss of the management consulting firm where stars Kristen Bell and Don Cheadle are employed.

Schiff has also been cast in the thriller The Frozen Ground, which stars Nicolas Cage and John Cusack. It’s based on a real life serial killer who is also a respected family man. He murdered 24 women over 12 years in Alaska. It is expected to be in theaters in December 2012.
House of Liesis a dark comedy based on a book by Marin Kihn which is subtitled “How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Tell You The Time.” Cheadle plays a self-loathing management consultant who will use any means to get the information his clients need. The series pilot premieres January 8, 2012, on the same night Showtime returns its series Shamelessand Californication.
Schiff adds these to a busy schedule.

He is co-starring with Bill Pullman in TNT’s production of Scott Turow’s Innocent,which also stars Alfred Molina and Marsha Gay Harden. This is projected as the first in a series of crime movies for the Turner Broadcasting cable outlet.
Schiff is also starring in the independent film Knife Fight, a political drama which stars Rob Lowe. He will play a private investigator.
Schiff has also completed work on a role in the revenge drama Fire With Fire, which stars Bruce Willis, Josh Duhamel and Rosario Dawson. It will be released in the U.S. by Lionsgate.
Schiff is represented by Leverage Management and the IFA Talent Agency.
