Sidney Kimmel Ent. nabs 'Old Timers' spec

Noah Haidle's script centers on sixtysomething cons

Sidney Kimmel Entertainment has picked up "Old Timers," a spec script by playwright Noah Haidle.

The script follows two sixtysomething cons who have one final night to do everything they've wanted and reunite their gang before one of them meets his demise.

Haidle's latest play, "Saturn Returns," debuted last year at the Lincoln Center in New York, with Nicholas Martin directing. His other staged plays include "Mr. Marmalade," "Kitty Kitty Kitty" and "Persephone."

Haidle is repped by UTA and Benderspink.

SKE is prepping the release of "Adventureland," Greg Mottola's coming-of-age movie co-financed and co-produced with Miramax, which opens March 27. "Management," the company's romantic comedy directed by Stephen Belber and starring Jennifer Aniston and Steve Zahn, is set to open May 15.
