Sienna Miller tapped for ShoWest nod
Named supporting actress of the yearSienna Miller, who will next be seen in Paramount's summer tentpole "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," has been named ShoWest 2009's supporting actress of the year.
Miller will be feted during an awards gala set to close the annual exhibition confab on April 2. ShoWest opens March 30 at the Bally's and Paris hotels in Las Vegas.
"From 'Alfie' to 'Factory Girl' to 'Interview,' Ms. Miller has shown an incredibly wide range of acting talent," ShoWest co-managing director Mitch Neuhauser said.
Miller made her film debut in 2005's mob actioner "Layer Cake."
Previous recipients of the ShoWest supporting actress award include Marisa Tomei, Catherine Zeta-Jones and last year's recipient, Rosario Dawson.
