Sky CFO Andrew Griffith Adds COO Title
The European pay TV giant, in which 21st Century Fox owns a 39 percent stake, expands his responsibilities.
Pan-European pay TV giant Sky said Monday that CFO Andrew Griffith will expand his responsibilities and add the title of COO.
Griffith has served as CFO and an executive director at Sky, and its U.K. predecessor BSkyB, since April 2008, after holding a number of senior finance roles at the company. Since 2012, he has also had executive responsibility for Sky's advertising business.
Griffith originally joined the company in 1999 from investment bank Rothschild where he provided financial and strategic advice to corporate clients in the technology, media and telecommunications sector.
Sky, in which 21st Century Fox owns a 39 percent stake, is led by CEO Jeremy Darroch.
