Net telephony firm to appeal European Union rulingInternet telephony firm Skype, which has filed for an IPO, must fight U.K. satellite TV giant BSkyB for use of its name in the EU.
BSkyB, often referred to simply as Sky, is controlled by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. It claims that it owns the "Sky" in "Skype," U.K. daily the Independent said Tuesday, citing a section in Skype's IPO filing.
