'SNL' Covers Trayvon Martin Case (VIDEO)

In one of the better skits of the Josh Brolin-hosted Saturday Night Live, the cast spoofed the media coverage of the Trayvon Martin case.

Taran Killiam reprived his take on Piers Morgan with a sketch parodying the media coverage of the black Florida teenager's death.

Two celebrity commenters Killam's Morgan brought on the show to discuss the case were new couple Kim Kardashian (Nasim Pedrad) and Kanye West (brilliantly portrayed, again, by Jay Pharaoh).

“I feel for (Martin),” West said. “Maybe it’s just the black man in me.”

Replied Kardashian, “I also know what it feels like to have a black man in me.”

Also joining the show to discuss the case: Florida Governor Jeb Bush and Law & Order SVU's Ice-T ("the closest thing we could get to a legal expert," portrayed by Fred Armisen).

Killam's impersonation was noted by one important viewer: Piers Morgan himself. "I think it's time I hosted #SNL -- they're using me every week for ratings anyway. May as well get paid for it... Lorne?” Morgan tweeted.
