The Lumineers Bring 'Ho Hey' To 'Saturday Night Live' (Video)
The folk group rocked their "SNL" debut with host Jennifer Lawrence.
As their surprise hit "Ho Hey" spends another week inside the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the Lumineers made their Saturday Night Live debut on Saturday (Jan. 19), performing their smash single as well as "Stubborn Love."

The Denver folk group seemed genuinely tickled to be gracing the SNL stage; as blinking lamps were sprinkled across the stage behind the Lumineers (get it?), Wesley Schultz led his troupe in a pair of rootsy jams. "Stubborn Love" was perhaps even more of a treat than the group's hit single, with Neyla Pekarek lugging out her cello and Jeremiah Fraites providing some percussive muscle.

The Lumineers' SNL performance precedes what they hope will be a big night at the Grammy Awards -- the group is nominated for Best New Artist, along with Frank Ocean, Hunter Hayes, fun. and the Alabama Shakes. Their self-titled debut album, which clocks in at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart this week, is also nominated for Best Americana Album. Saturday Night Live returns next week with Maroon 5's Adam Levine manning the hosting role and Kendrick Lamar as the musical guest.
