'SNL' still going with Williams story

"Saturday Night Live" with Brian Williams will go on, writers strike or not.

All of the skits scheduled for Saturday night's Williams-hosted show are in, and the rewrites were scheduled to be completed Thursday night.

There were about 40 sketches read through Wednesday, and 12-15 were selected to continue. The camera blocking of the sketches occurred Thursday and will continue today.

Williams is no doubt the first to guest-host "SNL," anchor a network's nightly newscasts and co-moderate a presidential debate during the course of a single week.
