Snooki’s New Year's Eve Ball: Successful Landing in New Jersey
2:21 PM PST 1/1/2011 by Bryan Alexander
After Times Square rejection, the 'Jersey Shore' star completes her task.
Times Square co-producers put the kibosh on Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi plans of descending in a ball on New Year's Eve, calling them "too late" and "too impractical."
But the Jersey Shore star simply moved to New Jersey with her reality show co-stars and completed the task.
The stunt was part of MTV’s televised New Year's celebration.
Upon reaching the bottom at 12 midnight, Snooki emerged from her glass bubble and proclaimed: "That was friggin' awesome."
