Snoop Dogg's Son Commits to UCLA, Will Join Diddy's Son as Teammate
The wide receiver will join defensive back Justin Combs on the Rose Bowl field.
Snoop Dogg will be chanting "Fight! Fight! Fight!" for the next four-plus years.
On Wednesday's National Signing Day, Snoop's son, Cordell Broadus, committed to play football at UCLA, declining offers from acclaimed universities including Notre Dame, ASU and USC.
Papa Snoop took to Instagram and Twitter to congratulate the 6-foot-2 wide receiver, who will graduate from Las Vegas' Bishop Gorman High School as a part of the 2015 class. "Ucla fight fight fight ?!" Snoop posted.
"My son first one in the family to go to college proud moment for the broadus family !" he wrote in a later post. "Ucla goooooooo Bruins ! #21 tune in."
The veteran rapper has long been known to rep cardinal and gold in support of USC, but will have to drawer the rivaling university's colors during the fall football season.
“We totally stand by his decision to attend UCLA,” Snoop told ESPNU following his son's commitment.
Broadus will join defensive back Justin Combs, Diddy's son, at the Rose Bowl Stadium field in the fall.
