Affleck's 'The Town' to wrap TIFF on Oct. 31

TOKYO – “The Social Network” will open the 23rd Tokyo Film Festival on October 23, while Ben Affleck’s “The Town” will bring proceedings to a close on Oct. 31.

David Fincher’s story of website Facebook and its founder Mark Zuckerberg, starring Jessy Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, and Justin Timberlake, will take its Japanese bow at the Roppongi Hills complex, where both TIFF and the accompanying TIFFCOM market will run.
