In light of the video leak that allegedly showed Solange Knowles attacking her brother-in-law Jay Z in an elevator while Beyonce stood watching the fight, it was reported that the Saint Records artist coincidentally deleted nearly every photo of her big sister from her Instagram account.
While her intention remains unclear, the website SheKnows pointed out that she kept one photo of herself smiling with Beyonce and a friend from 15 months ago, with the caption "Girls moment." However, MTV noted that there were actually two more photos of her big sister still posted on her Insta, seen here and here.
The surveillance footage posted by TMZ on Monday appears to show Solange throwing a few punches and kicking her heels (Stuart Weitzman heels, to be specific) at Jay Z in an elevator at the Standard Hotel in New York following a Met Gala after party on May 5. A woman, said to be Beyonce, looks on while a bodyguard tries to restrain Solange.
Following the video leak, the Standard confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the video was taken from one of their elevators and said it is investigating the security breach.
"We are shocked and disappointed that there was a clear breach of our security system and the confidentiality that we count on providing our guests," the hotel said in the statement obtained by THR. "We are investigating with the utmost urgency the circumstances surrounding the situation and, as is our customary practice, will discipline and prosecute the individuals involved to our fullest capacity."
Despite the reported attack, Beyonce and Jay Z were spotted smiling courtside at Barclays Center for the Brooklyn Nets game on Monday night.
