The deal gives ProSieben exclusive European rights to several Sony game titles.
COLOGNE, Germany - Sony Online Entertainment has signed a licensing deal with ProSiebenSat.1 Games for the exclusive European rights to eight of SOE's top online games, including EverQuest, DC Universe Online and Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures.
The agreement follows a similar deal between Electronic Arts and ProSieben last month for German rights to top EA games such as Battlefield Heroes and Need for Speed World.
By stocking up on established hit titles, ProSiebenSat.1 Games, a division of broadcasting giant ProSiebenSat.1, hopes to become one of Europe's leading games publishers, focusing on the fast-growing segment of free-to-play online gaming.
