LEVINE-LAVIE WEDDING

Merisa Levine, a national publicity manager at Sony Pictures, married Roberto Lavie, an operations manager at Mars Financial Services, on June 8 at The Rockleigh in Rockleigh, N.J. The couple, who became engaged in June 2012, have been together more than three years. Levine, who wore an Alita Graham gown, and Lavie will honeymoon in August on the Mediterranean.

BIRTHS

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed a daughter June 15 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The couple have been dating since 2012.

EXPECTING

Arrow star Stephen Amell and his wife, actress Cassandra Jean, are expecting their first child. The couple got married Christmas Day in an intimate ceremony on the Caribbean and had a stateside ceremony during Memorial Day weekend in New Orleans.

Elaine Laron, a writer and lyricist who participated in the classic children's TV show The Electric Company, died June 6 of pneumonia in Los Angeles. She was 83.

Bernard Sahlins, co-founder of Second City, known for launching the careers of Bill Murray, John Belushi and Gilda Radner, died June 16 at his home in Chicago. He was 90.

WALK OF FAME

Jennifer Lopez will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on June 20. She next appears in the Chilean miner drama The 33. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer is set to receive a star June 24; Johnny Depp and Disney chairman and CEO Robert Iger are scheduled to speak.
