Sony Pictures Television, Sky Deutschland Sign Multi-Year Deal

The multi-platform deal gives News Corp.'s Sky rights to “Men in Black 3,” “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “Total Recall.”
COLOGNE, Germany – Sony Pictures Television has signed a multi-year and multi-platform deal with News Corp.’s German pay-TV operation Sky Deutschland that gives Sky exclusive first-run rights to Sony blockbusters, including Men in Black 3, The Amazing Spider-Man and Len Wisemann’s upcoming Total Recall reboot.
Financial terms weren't disclosed.
Other titles included in the deal, announced Monday, are the Quentin Tarantino-directed Western Django Unchained and Underworld Awakening, the latest in the sci-fi horror franchise featuring Kate Beckinsale.
The deal gives Sky Deutschland multi-platform rights to Sony’s slate, meaning Sky subscribers can watch the films on any device using the company’s online and mobile services.
