Spot Runner taps former MTV president
EmptyDigital advertising agency Spot Runner has named former MTV Networks president and COO Mark Rosenthal vice chairman and president of media platforms.
He will oversee the firm's New York operations and preside over a newly formed division "that develops programs that leverage technologies for the benefit of advertising agencies and media companies," Spot Runner said. Rosenthal reports to chairman and CEO Nick Grouf.
Rosenthal most recently was chairman and CEO of Interpublic Media, part of ad agency conglomerate Interpublic Group. There, he oversaw all of the company's worldwide media operations, including Universal McCann and Initiative.
"I first came to know Spot Runner while at Interpublic and recognized the huge value they could bring to both advertisers and media owners," Rosenthal said. "The team here is reinventing the way advertising is created, targeted, bought and sold."
