Sony Pictures Television International extended its long-running cooperation with pan-European broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 on Monday, signing a multiyear volume deal that will give ProSieben German free TV rights to such top SPTI titles as "Spider-Man 3," "The Pursuit of Happyness" and "The Da Vinci Code."

The agreement, negotiated by ProSiebenSat.1 senior vp acquisitions Rudiger Boss and Kerstin Guhne, SPTI's vp sales for German-language territories, also includes several series, among them the Emmy-winning costume drama "The Tudors," starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and FX's new series "Damages," which just won a best actress Golden Globe for star Glenn Close.

The package also includes a number of SPTI library titles, among them "Men in Black" and "My Best Friend's Wedding."

ProSieben will use the package to supply its free-to-air channels in Germany as well as its burgeoning online portal, Maxdome.
