Stephen Wong Joins Fox's Audience Strategy Department
He will serve as the unit’s vice president, reporting to Nicole Bernard.
Stephen Wong has joined Fox’s audience strategy unit as vp as the network continues to beef up its focus on diversity.
The audience strategy department was created recently to identify programming and operational opportunities that reflect diverse perspectives and drive ratings and revenue.
Wong will be responsible for establishing and managing strategic partnerships within and outside of Fox to enhance the creative efforts across the company’s West Coast divisions. He will report to senior vp audience strategy Nicole Bernard, who made the announcement Thursday.
“Stephen has the ideal mix of production and business development experience to help us drive more organic engagement of diverse voices across all of our entertainment businesses,” Bernard said in a statement. “From story lines and settings to talent in front of and behind the camera, reflecting today’s audiences is more important than ever to achieving success.”
Wong, who was senior vp and head of business development at Fox Look, also will be tasked with identifying broadcast, cable, digital and film programming opportunities.
