Sternberg inks deal with Shemin
Will develop unscripted self-help formatsScott Sternberg Prods. has inked an exclusive development deal with financial guru and best-selling author Robert Shemin.
The company will develop unscripted formats based on the practical and self-help financial advice Shemin doles out in his best-selling books and seminar series.
Shemin is an expert on wealth for CNN as well as a frequent guest on national, regional and local television and radio programs. He also has worked with high-net-worth individuals for Goldman Sachs, has been involved in more than 1,000 real estate transactions and helped create the Learning Annex Wealth Expo.
"(Shemin) has a great presence and personality and was made for TV," Sternberg said. "We're going to be developing some really positive formats that give Robert the chance to share his expertise and really make a difference to people."
Added Shemin: "With a recession looming, this content will be timely and informative."
Scott Schwartz of Vision Arts Management packaged the deal. Sternberg and Vision Arts recently collaborated on "The Academy," which is in its second season on Fox Reality. Sternberg's other credits include GSN's "That's the Question" and TLC's upcoming "The Singing Office."
