Steven Spielberg’s and Peter Jackson’s 'The Adventures of Tintin' and 'Cat in Boots' (Puss in Boots) Added To The Doha Tribeca Film Festival
Festival's family day will also include a 10-year anniversary screening of "Spy Kids."
LONDON – Steven Spielberg’s and Peter Jackson’s 3D animated film The Adventures of Tintin and 3D animated film Cat in Boots (Puss in Boots) are both late additions to this year’s Doha Tribeca Film Festival (DTFF).
The brace of titles have been added to the festival’s Family Day and Cat in Boots star Antonio Banderas is scheduled to be on hand to support the MENA premier of his film.
Doha Film Institute and Miramax will also present a special 10 year anniversary screening of Spy Kids during this year’s festival.
DFI executive director Amanda Palmer said: “The Tintin team in New Zealand, with great support from Joe Letteri, went above and beyond to bring this film to Qatar, and the modern retelling of this iconic tale will no doubt be a highlight for audiences - young and old.”
