Strand to Distribute 'Crazy Eyes,' Starring Lukas Haas and Madeline Zima

The drama, directed by Adam Sherman, will have its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival.
Strand Releasing has acquired U.S. rights to Adam Sherman’s Crazy Eyes, starring Lukas Haas and Madeline Zima, which will have its world premiere at the upcoming SXSW Film Festival.

In the drama, produced by Hagai Shaham, Haas plays a young man obsessed with a girl he calls Crazy Eyes, who is played by Zima. Jake Busey, Ray Wise and Tania Raymonde also appear in the feature.
Strand, which is planning an early summer release, distributed Sherman’s previous film, Happiness Runs, in 2009.
The deal was negotiated between Strand’s Jon Gerrans and attorney Irwin Rappaport.
