Alexander Wang Rumored to Be Collaborating with Adidas [WWD]
Are sneaker brands winning the fashion war? The latest rumor to make the rounds in the fashion industry this week is news that Alexander Wang is collaborating with Adidas for a project to be revealed later this year. According to WWD, the collab will be revealed following his presentation at New York Fashion Week on Sept. 10. Adidas has previously collaborated with Rick Owens, Raf Simons and Stella McCartney.

LVMH Reportedly Ditching Donna Karan [Fashionista]
According to reports, LVMH might be looking to sell off Donna Karan International, including DKNY — Donna Karan's lower priced contemporary label which was taken over by Public School designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne after Karan parted ways with her eponymous label last year. Though individual sales figures for the label are not disclosed by LVMH, the company has noted that DKNY as well as Marc Jacobs have been consistently underperforming. Neither party has commented on the rumors.

Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Raises $45 Million [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
At his third annual auction gala in Saint Tropez Gala, Leonardo DiCaprio raised $45 million for his namesake foundation. The funds raised will "support the foundation’s mission of protecting the earth and all of its inhabitants from climate change and the environmental crises it has created." Guests at the soiree included Cate Blanchett and Kate Hudson, and featured performances by The Weeknd and Lana Del Rey.

ASOS, Topshop Ban Down Feathers Following PETA Video [Vogue UK]
Several British brands, including ASOS, Topshop, Oasis and Primark, have vowed to stop using down feathers in their goods after being shown a PETA expose that showed birds being aggressively plucked of their feathers. PETA senior manager of corporate projects, Yvonne Taylor, encouraged the brands, which signed a down-free pledge, to instead seek synthetic alternatives to down.

To celebrate her first-ever American Vogue cover, Gigi Hadid headed back to her hometown of Los Angeles for a little R and R — all documented by Vogue, of course. A day in the life of one of the biggest international supermodels apparently includes a FaceTime sesh with Mario Testino, a drive down Sunset Boulevard with Ru Paul and a stroll through the drive-thru line at In-n-Out while decked out in full couture. Rough life.
