Monday fun day, fashion edition.

Beyonce's and Riccardo Tisci's tight relationship is no secret (we're assuming they got even closer after he designed her nearly naked Met Gala dress — you remember the one) and now speculation is brewing that Queen Bey is the next face of Givenchy. The pair was spotted last week at a photo shoot together on a New York City rooftop where Beyonce was rocking the latest Givenchy collection. However, the shoot may have just been for another of Bey's many projects. We'll have to wait and see. [Complex]

Last Friday, President Obama visited Nike's HQ in Oregon to push his Trans-Pacific Partnership legislation — and New Balance felt a little left out. The Boston-based company, which manufactures its shoes stateside (versus Nike, which outsources its labor to foreign countries), said of the president's speaking engagement, "It would be great to have him come to a footwear company that actually still makes shoes in the United States and be talking about this agreement. We’d welcome that opportunity.” Burn. [Politico]

Multihyphenate Kanye West now has proof of his "genius." Well, kind of. Today, the rapper received an honorary doctorate from School of the Art Institute of Chicago for his artistic ventures. Dr. Yeezy's acceptance speech was filled with classic Kanye-isms ("This honor is gonna make your lives easier...you won't have to defend me as much"), George Bush references and just a touch of humility. We'd expect nothing less. [MTV News]

Kate and Laura Mulleavy (also known as the powerhouse sister design duo behind Rodarte) are following in the footsteps of fellow designer Tom Ford by taking their turn at filmmaking. Their first film, called Woodshock, will star longtime pal Kirsten Dunst. [THR]
