Frank Ocean Wears Custom Balmain in 'Nikes' Video [Instagram]
One day after surprising the world with his "Endless" visual album, Frank Ocean delivered yet another fashionable video to his thirsty fans. In the video for "Nikes" off his fourth album, Blond, the singer sports a custom white pearl-embellished Balmain jumpsuit — reminiscent of the Yeezy x Balmain looks worn by the Kardashians at Kanye West's Yeezy season 3 presentation — and yes, Nikes. To match the sparkly look and trippy mood of the video, Ocean added eyeliner and a glittery face.
Harper's Bazaar's Laura Brown Named InStyle Editor in Chief [Fashionista]
Following the departure of Ariel Foxman from his post as editor in chief of InStyle earlier this month, Harper's Bazaar executive editor, special projects Laura Brown has been tapped to take his place. Brown comes to InStyle after 11 years at Bazaar, where she was responsible for some of the glossy's most-memorable shoots, including Rihanna's iconic shark mouth cover.
Hailey Baldwin Launches Beauty Capsule [WWD]
Model Hailey Baldwin is launching a 25-piece beauty capsule collection through Australia's ModelCo. Available in mid-November on the brand's website, the collection retails for between $19 and $42. The beauty range is Baldwin's second collaboration with an Australian brand; earlier this summer, she worked with The Daily Edited on a collection of handbags.
Westfield World Trade Center Opens in Manhattan [NY Post]
Westfield celebrated the opening of its new subterranean mall at the World Trade Center last week with performances by John Legend and Hamilton's Leslie Odom Jr. The highlight of the mall is the Oculus, a 160-foot structure that allows for plenty of natural light to permeate through the open vaulted ceiling, modeled after a dove in flight. Retailers include mall staples like Sephora, Forever 21 and Victoria's Secret as well as Kiehl's and Kate Spade.
