Gigi Hadid Lands First American Vogue Cover [Vogue]
Gigi Hadid showed off her athleticism for American Vogue's Olympics-themed August issue. The 21-year-old was photographed by Mario Testino alongside Olympian Ashton Eaton for the sporty shoot, wearing looks by Versace while she jumped hurdles (in heels, no less). Though she's landed countless covers for international editions of Vogue, this is her first time starring on the front of the U.S. glossy.
Goop's Annual Celebrity Closet Sale Features Goods From Anne Hathaway, Rachel Zoe [Goop]
It's that time of year! Goop's annual celebrity closet sale launches today, and it features goodies from the wardrobes of stars including Anne Hathaway (a Givenchy custom gown), Rachel Zoe (pieces from her label), Lena Dunham (a Miu Miu skirt) and, of course, Gwyneth Paltrow (a Valentino coat). Proceeds from the sale will be donated to two children's charities: Children's Rights, which protects children in the foster care system, and Donors Choose, which assists teachers at under-funded public schools.
Barnes & Noble Launches Beauty Concept Shop "The Glossary" on College Campuses [Cosmopolitan]
Barnes & Noble has debuted a new shop-in-shop concept store dubbed "The Glossary," which will sell beauty products alongside its books and other goodies. Currently, "The Glossary" is only at stores on college campuses, including Emory, Southern Methodist University and Tulane, and coming soon to the University of California, Riverside. A mix of high- and low-end brands will be stocked, including Living Proof, Cover Girl, Smashbox and Maybelline.
